We had the 3rd workshop with the Kinrin Elementary School kids: deciding the award categories.
As usual, we started with some fun and asked the kids what they wanted to do and play. It seems like there are lots of creative people in the bunch, because they wanted to draw all of their favourite animals.
Then they led us in a game. We have no idea what it was called, but it was a paper scissors rock competition, where the winner leads a longer and longer train until there are only 2 trains, then one winner!
This workshop had a lot of thinking and showed how smart these kids are! They came up with some amazing awards and really were able to express what they might want to give to the artists. The kids are excited to see the shows and choose who gets what.
We ended the day with some sweet swag. Only one workshop left to go! Matane!
