RINGSIDE
Hallo, ich bin Milena. Ich war in dem Stück Ringside. Ich fand die Idee gut, dass ein Schwuler so ehrlich dazu steht, dass er auch heiraten will. Er hat auch getanzt, das sah so aus, als ob er eine Welle ist, die mitgezogen wird. Er hat auch gesungen, nur wir hatten ja Kopfhörer auf. Dann habe ich sie abgenommen und gehört, dass er wirklich gut singen kann. Es war lustig und gut und die Brautjungfern waren hübsch. Auch wenn die eine fast hingefallen ist. Das war lustig!
Hallo, mein Name ist Ariana und ich war in dem Stück Ringside. In diesem Stück geht es um eine türkische Hochzeit. Im Saal, wo wir waren, waren Tische geschmückt. Obwohl der Schauspieler in England aufgewachsen ist, hat er eine türkische Familie. Im Stück wurde viel gesungen und getanzt. Außerdem haben im Stück 12 Brautjungfern aus Oldenburg mitgespielt.
Ich habe eine Blume bekommen und es war schön und hat lange gedauert. Und da war ein Mann, der wollte heiraten, aber er war schwul. Hoger

Ich bin Nergis, 13 Jahre alt.
Ich habe das Stück Ringside gesehen. Das Stück war sehr schön, der Schauspieler Mem hat seine Rolle sehr gut und schön gespielt. Das Stücke handelte von Hochzeitstraditionen, die vor und am Hochzeitstag gemacht werden müssen. Ich habe Gänsehaut bekommen, als ich das Stück gesehen habe.
Am 26.04.12 haben wir Mem Morisson getroffen und haben ihn interviewt. Seine Geschichte von seinem Leben ist sehr traurig. Mem ist sehr nett und höflich.

Monsters vs. Beasties

Are Mammalian worlds colliding once again? Darren will have to fill me in on the project since I don't know too much about Monster Makers.

Saturday morning, and as usual, the jury arrives early. It's a good thing that these kids are so good at killing time as we wait for Lone Twin's Beastie to begin.

The jury helps piece Beastie together.

They then come up with his backstory. Our Beastie, Otsu, was hatched from an egg on Jupiter, where he and only one other Beastie live. At the tender age of 700, Otsu is still a young boy. Thinking Otsu's egg was a football, his friend accidentally kicked him down to earth, where he landed in Kuopio, just outside of Kulttuuriareena 44.

Otsu wakes up.

The kids take Otsu for a walk.

Most of the jury enjoyed the piece, but not everyone was into it. Perhaps Soe Tun's artistic palette has been refining over the last week, making him too sophisticated for this kid's stuff.

Petrina's working on tallying votes while I blog. We leave soon for the 100 Year Old Rock N'Roll Band, the last stop for CCA Kuopio. We've got all three juries tonight. Wish us luck!
